Our graphic designer said We absolutely HAVE to start blogging, and writing to me doesn’t come naturally, witty quips and clever anecdotes are just not my thing!
When I started tattooing in 1999,you really just had to be able to tattoo straight line and look after the studio whilst your mentor went and got shit faced in the local pub. Which I think was really the main reason for tattoo apprentices.
Nowadays you have to be a graphic designer, first rate photographer, customer services expert, mind reader, babysitter, and now author too.
Although I’m sure I can palm off some of the responsibility to my awesome friends and clients. For prizes of course (please?)
Everyone always has an opinion on something in the studio. Next gobby one gets a pen!
Anyway, the main reason for the blog is his answer to my question
‘how will I let all my customers know where we have moved to when we go’?
That’s right.. reeves corner is being redeveloped!
We knew it was coming for some time, but now the hunt for a new place is on!
We have been looking for a new studio space, one befitting the lovely guys and girls at steel point, and our wonderful Tattooees.
So on top of all the blog writing you guys can’t wait to get onto, we also want you to help us out and keep your eyes peeled for any space for a studio!
Answer me this.. what’s Important when you come to get a tattoo?
What do you look for in an artist/tattoo shop, and what makes you choose ?
Until next time
Peace out 🤘🏻
